    Booking Fee Requirement

    To secure your appointment with us, a 50% booking fee of the total service cost is now required. Please understand that this deposit will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your appointment. This adjustment allows us to better manage our schedule, guaranteeing that your time with us is uninterrupted and enjoyable.

    Booking Fee Payment

    Rest assured that our dedicated staff is here to assist you every step of the way. When you book with us, our team will guide you through the payment process over the phone, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

    Failure to Pay Booking Fee

    We must emphasize that neglecting to pay the 50% booking fee within 48 hours of booking will regrettably result in the forfeiture of your appointment slot. We genuinely regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe this policy is essential to serve all our clients fairly and efficiently.

    Cancellation Policy

    Life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs, and we understand that plans may change. However, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy:

    To cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

    Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your 50% booking fee.

    Exceptions

    Your understanding and flexibility are deeply valued. In exceptional cases, such as emergencies or sudden illness, we will carefully consider exceptions to our cancellation policy on a case-by-case basis. Please don't hesitate to contact us as soon as possible if you find yourself in such a situation, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

    Refunds of Booking Fee

    We would like to assure you that refunds for booking fee’s will only be issued in cases where we can fill your appointment slot or if you have adhered to our cancellation policy.

    We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth booking process for all our clients.

    Arrival Time

    We understand that life can be unpredictable, but arriving on time for your scheduled appointment is crucial to maintain our high-quality service standards. Please make every effort to arrive promptly for your appointment. If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

    Late Arrival

    We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. However, we strive to accommodate all our clients and maintain our schedule to ensure everyone receives the attention they deserve.

    If you arrive late for your appointment without prior notification, your service may be shortened to fit within the remaining time slot, which could impact the quality of the service provided.

    If you are excessively late (more than 15 minutes) without prior notification, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure fairness to other clients.

    Hair Washing Requirement

    Clients who have booked colour services (e.g., highlights, balayage, or full-colour treatments) are required to wash their hair a minimum of 48 hours before their scheduled appointment. This ensures that the hair is free from excess oils, products, and residues, allowing for the best colour application and results.

    • Pre-washed hair provides a clean canvas for our colourists to work on, which results in more vibrant, long-lasting colour outcomes.

    • Unwashed hair can be more resistant to colour penetration, and the natural oils in unwashed hair can act as a barrier, affecting the colour development process.

    Additional Fee for Washing Services

    Clients arriving for their colour appointment with hair that has not been washed within the stipulated 48-hour period may be subject to an additional fee to cover the cost of washing and preparing the hair for colour application.

    This fee will be discussed with the client and added to the total cost of the service, before the colour service commences.

    Exceptional Circumstances

    In certain cases, such as clients with specific medical conditions or concerns that prevent them from washing their hair prior to their appointment, exceptions may be made. Please discuss your circumstances with our staff when booking your appointment.

    Client Responsibility

    It is the client's responsibility to ensure their hair is properly washed within the designated timeframe to avoid additional fees and to achieve the best possible colour results.

    Clients are encouraged to consult with their stylist for any questions or concerns regarding hair preparation.

    Notification

    Clients will be reminded of the requirement when confirming their appointments via phone, email, or text message.

  • Our primary goal at Black Flamingo Studio is to ensure that every client leaves our salon feeling satisfied and confident with their hair. We understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, a haircut or hair colour may not meet your expectations. To address this, we have established a rework policy that allows clients to make changes if their cut or colour isn't quite right.

    Clients who wish to request a rework must adhere to the following eligibility criteria:

    Timeframe: Rework requests must be made within one week (7 days) of the original service appointment.

    Original Service: Reworks are applicable for the same service received in salon. This policy does not cover change of mind.

    Client Communication: Clients may request a rework by either calling 3266 2435 or sending an email to hello@blackflamingostudio.com.

  • Gift vouchers can be purchased online or in-person at our salon. Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, any remaining balance after the expiration date will be void. Vouchers can be redeemed for salon services and product but cannot be exchanged for cash.

    It is our clients responsibility to keep their vouchers safe. We do not replace lost or stolen vouchers.

    Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

  • At Black Flamingo Studio, we are committed to providing our clients with high-quality haircare products. We understand that occasionally issues may arise with products purchased from us. Our policy regarding refunds and exchanges for products is as follows:

    Exchanges for Faulty Products: We will gladly exchange any haircare product that is found to be faulty or damaged upon receipt. Please notify us within 7 days of purchase, and we will provide you with a replacement product at no additional cost.

    Exchanges for Allergic Reactions: In the unfortunate event that you experience an allergic reaction to one of our haircare products, we will exchange the product for an alternative that is less likely to cause a reaction. Please contact us immediately to discuss your reaction and arrange for an exchange.

    No Refunds for Change of Mind: We regret that we cannot issue refunds for products due to a change of mind or personal preferences. We encourage our clients to consult with our experienced staff before making a purchase to ensure that the product meets their specific needs.

    Service Refunds: Our salon services are performed by highly skilled and experienced professionals, and your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with a service you have received, please refer to our rework policy:

    Refunds for Unsatisfactory Services: In cases where a client is still unsatisfied after the rework appointment, we may consider issuing a refund for the service in question. Refunds are granted at the discretion of Black Flamingo Studio management and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

    Please keep in mind the following:

    - Refunds will only be considered if the client has followed our rework policy by notifying us within the specified timeframe and attending the rework appointment.

    - Refunds will be issued for the specific service that was found to be unsatisfactory and not for any additional services.

    - Refunds will be processed within 2 business days after approval.

    Use of Discounts

    Non-Stackable Discounts

    Please note that our special offers and ongoing discounts cannot be combined with each other or used in conjunction with any other promotion. You may only apply one discount to a single service at a time.

    Student's Discount

    We offer a student's discount to eligible clients who present a valid student ID. This discount applies to select services and is subject to availability. The student's discount cannot be used in combination with any other promotion or discount.

    Terms and Conditions

    Booking Requirements
